Ellie is a freelance writer, theatre maker, arts facilitator and actor from the West Midlands. She is passionate about increasing social access to theatre, and is particularly interested in making theatre that engages with landscape, rurality, and regional communities.

Ellie completed her training at ArtsEd and The Royal Central School of Drama, and was one of Pentabus’ Local Young Writers 23/24.

She is currently developing a play that explores the intergenerational relationships of women and the differing societal expectations placed upon them, all against the backdrop of rural Britain. This piece was most recently performed at St Margaret’s House for Flat4 Theatre’s ‘Freshly Squeezed’ scratch night.

Previous collaborations include: London Bubble Theatre, Pentabus, WAC Arts, The Arts Centre Telford, Flat4 Theatre, St Margaret’s House, Lyric Hammersmith Theatre, Oldham Theatre Workshop, Hear First Productions and Colab Theatre.
